MD International Dance Workshop – Reggaeton Style

Dear Everyone!

We continue with our second station of the “International Workshop” series, where we bring the magic of Latin dance to life. You will have the opportunity to learn the famous reggaeton style.

Reggaeton is a dance style from the late 1990’s that originated in Puerto Rico. Strongly influenced by Latin American, Caribbean, dancehall and hip-hop music, this fun, sexy, free-spirited dance style is popular in nightclubs. With signature moves such as shoulder pops, body waves, and lower body isolations. In the first part of the workshop, you’ll learn the basics of reggaeton, and in the second class you’ll learn a routine of the moves led by Roger.

What you need to know about Roger?
Roger is a professional dancer from Venezuela. Roger is a professional dancer from Venezuela. He excelled in contemporary dance at the Venezuelan University of the Arts (UNEARTE) and studied contemporary dance education at the Musik und Kunst Private Universität in Vienna-Austria. Her more than 10 years of international professional experience and versatility have allowed her to perform in television shows such as Xfactor Hungary, Sztárban Sztár, A Nagy Duett and many others, as well as in musicals, most notably Luis’ role in West Side Story at the Seefestpiele Moorbisch 2021 in Austria. Last but not least, he also has music videos and movies to his name, such as Pappa Pia Hungary and Dhakad (India), and he has worked for the Royal Caribbean cruise line, where he performed in one of the most popular aqua shows (Aqua 80).
